Answer: The government retained the rights to collect property taxes from landowners. Taxing land was a logical method of raising revenue for two reasons.
(A )until Industrial Revolution. which is started from 80 century .
(B) Land is impossible to hide.
2-What is Eminent ?
Answer: The right of government to take ownership of privately held real estate regardless of the owner’s wishes is called eminent domine.
